Hello everybody, I'm new to this mailing list and wonder if someone could help me.I'm researching my husband's family. Emma Melton CHETTLE was his g.grandmother. She came first to Australia, married George Berry Johnson, and they continued on to New Zealand. I'm looking for information about her parents and siblings. Her parents were Samuel and Sarah CHETTLE and they had the following children in Mitcham, Surrey: Sarah b.1814, Anne b.1815, Margaret b.1818. Samuel Francis b.1820, d.1826, Emma Melton b.1823, Eliza b.1825,Fanny b.1830, Samuel b.1830, Francis b.1832, d.1834, and Louisa b.1834. I'm trying to find out where and when Samuel and Sarah got married, her maiden name and when and where they were born. I would also to be interested to find out more about Emma's siblings.
