He was born between 1806 and 1811, depending on which census information is correct. Israel married Elizabeth Stanley on 26 Dec 1833 in Green Co., PA. Their eldest son, John (My great-great grandfather) was born in Ohio County, WV. John was born in 1839. I believe that Greene Co is adjacent to Washington Co in PA. There could be a connection. I also know that there were McWhorters who moved on to Vinton Co, Ohio. Perhaps, my Israel is an older brother of your John.
