My great-grandmother was Carrie Chesser-Kennedy and was from near Chincatigue Island (I'm not sure about that spelling) I understand that we have Native American heritige. Her father's name was Purnell Houton Chesser. I want to find out what tribe, and how far back.My great-grandmother and her siblings were very dark, with black hair, dark eyes, and non-European features. My Grandfather's name is Purnell Chesser Kennedy. He also has black hair and dark eyes. Also, their hair never turned grey. Please e-mail if you have any information.
