Hello Tony, Whilst looking at these trees I found one which had the birth of a child several years after the death of the supposed parent. It wasn’t repeated in all the trees and may just have been a typo but I have found many trees with data bordering on impossible if not absolutely impossible. I don’t take any of the data on them for granted. While hunting for clues of my Vernon ancestry, there are 10 or so trees on ancestry.com that claim an ancestor is the son of a woman who died 4 years before he was born! It is very possible that you have found the correct answer while others have simply copied the incorrect one. Use them as hints or clues but not as evidence. Don't be misled by the same info. appearing in several trees either. They could be copies of copies of copies etc. It does happen. Finally if you find that you are in a minority of one do not assume that you will get a response if you enquire where the others found their data. Some do reply but the majority do not. Personally I am always pleased when some one challenges my data .... I may unearth an error there. Eric Millward ----- No virus found in this message.
