An ancestor of mine, one Joseph James James, (yes, two James) b1864 Wilderspool, Cheshire, d.1943, shows on the 1911 census as having a wife Mary, and 6 children, all then alive in 1911. I have identified 5 of the children, Ann, Ada, Joseph, John, Lily, but the 6th child is an elusive mystery. I have obtained a copy of the 1901 census which shows the family at the bottom of the census page, and I am hopeful that there may have been a further child (or more) on the next page. I do not currently have Ancestry access to check this and wonder if there is someone who could check it for me, and if I am correct, maybe copy the page and send it to me? Much appreciated from the far flung Colony of Australia John Williams
Hello John, On Ancestry, the next page of that census starts with a different family. I'm afraid that isn't going to give you any more information. Sorry about that!
