I have a wonderful opportunity to spend a week in Salt Lake City next month and I'm not sure of the best way to spend my time, genealogy wise. I plan to spend 3-4 days in the LDS library, etc. What are my first steps once I get there, where do I go first, is there a "process" that one goes through, are there eating establishments close by, what should one take with them as far as personal records are concerned, are there written/un-written rules, do/don't do items for using the library? As you can see there are lots of questions. Can you supply some of the answers? Any advice, recommendations, answers, etc. will be most appreciated because I want to make the most of the short time that I will be there.
