    3. This sounds like something the census would help. I can't tell if you mean that Fred Cherry was Carrie Paulk Cherry's spouse or father. 1920 and earlier censuses are available now, the 1930 census will be available in April, 2002. If you don't know the names of the parents you can scan through all of the entries with the surname you're looking for until you find a child of the right name and age. For more information on the census, check with your local public or LDS library or look under census on Cyndi's list (www.cyndislist.com).
