We don't know much on Elizabeth and John keeps getting two different sets of parents. Does anyone have some evidence of who his parents may have been? Years would've been early 1600's and I believe both were English. Thanks

The first Cherry ancestor in America was John Cherry ,who immigrated from England to Virginia in 1635 .The Cherry's who settled near Center Point ,Tn c. 1831 were direct descendents of that first John Cherry.He is said to have been the son of John Cherry the younger ,buried Bray,England Jan.18,1685 and this John ,the younger was the son of John Cherry , the elder of Maidenhead in Cookham. This is from the book Chester County Tennessee History and Families .These are direct descendents of John Cherry in my family line .     3. Where is Center Point, Tennessee? My great-great-grandmother was Hettie Missouri Cherry, she married John Thomas COPASS (aka COPUS or COPAS). I know they were from Tennessee.
