I have a Joseph Cherry born in 1818 in Hardin Co. as a son of Isham Cherry and Silvah Harrell with two siblings, Jesse and Noel. My husband is descended from Noel. I don't have proof of this relationship of Joseph being his son but that is a probable because of the years of birth of the siblings and all being in Hardin Co. TN. If intersted in more, please email me, the line I have goes from Thomas De Che'Rie (Cherry) from France in the 1390's in to England in the 1400, 1500 and 1600's then into VA in the late 1680's then into North Carolina in the 1700's then with Noel Cherry into Hardin Co.
