Here's what I have: Joseph Cherry married Matilda ("Mary") Cherry in Winston Co MS on July 24, 1845. Joseph was born in TN in 1818. Matilda was born in TN. Children were: William, James, Mary, Frances, Sarah, and Robert. On Jan. 15, 1867, in Winston Co MS, Joseph married his second wife, Curereann Tille. After Curereann apparently died, he married Mrs. Louisa Kinard in Winston Co MS on June 1, 1871. All of these marriages are from the book, Winston Co MS marriages. Matilda Cherry was supposedly the daughter of David Cherry (1798-1872) and Nancy (ca. 1800-aft 1850) who lived in Tennessee and then in Winston Co. MS as early as 1850. David was originally born to Jesse and Elizabeth Gainer Cherry in North Carolina. Other children of David and Nancy were: David Jr., Narcissa, Martha (Kelly), Nancy Elizabeth "Eliza" (Kelly), Rebecca (Carter), Drucilla (Malone). Matthew Lundy rayel@intop.net
