Please reply to kjnielsen50@hotmail.com Hello Rhonda, I am in posession of a Gadd Family Bible. This Bible was a wedding gift to John Nelson Gadd and Cyrena Cherry Gadd. Their son Charles Thomas was married in 1891 to ?. His wife resided in a Home that was purchased by my grandparents in the late 1930's or early 1940's. I am attempting to speak with a surviving neighbor to see of there were any children and resulting heirs to this bible. If you could help with any information I would appreciate it very much. Thank you Karen Nielsen, kjnielsen50@hotmail.com
Hello Karen - I'm so in habit of reading the Decatur web and finding zinch! Nearly shocked me this morning! I hope Rhonda will see this as she can fill you in better but we certainly should have a connection here. Cyrena Cherry was either my paternal grandmothers real mother or her aunt. Haven't sorted it all out yet but I wanted to contact you so you will have my email as well. Stay in touch and thank you!
