Sandra, Thanks for responding so quickly. My William shows up on the 1850 census as being 30 and then in the 1860 census his age is shown as 46, so I figure he must have been born about 1814 - 1820. My James would have been born about 1808 - 1812. Trying to find them has been very frustrating to say the least. And yes, maybe they are tied together somehow as Washington County was next to Wilkinson. Thanks again for responding.
