John, Does your William Anderson Cherry have a brother named James by chance? My William Cherry and James Cherry were from N.C. and they moved to Georgia. Both were in the 1850 and 1860 Wilkinson County, Georgia census. Also their was a Mary Cherry who was 60 so she may have been their mother, also Mary had a Silvie living with her also. They both were on the Wilkinson County, Georgia census too. We have hit a brick wall trying to find William and James, Mary and Silvie when checking N.C. Sure would be nice if they were in your lineage. Any info you might be able to give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
