Hi Dawn I'm glad to see that there is a fellow researcher of English Cherrys out there. Unfortunatley my Cherrys came from quite a bit further south than yours - North Buckinghamshire. My earliest known ancestor Thoams Cherry married in Preston Bissett in 1785, and although I'm having a problem verifying his birth/baptism, I'm fairly certain that he wasn't from 'up north'. I have a fairly large collection of information on Cherrys from the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire area, which I would be glad to share with you if you think it would help.
