Hi Cherry seekers, I am new to this list so please excuse me if these questions have been answered before. My 4th ggrandfather was William W. Cherry; b. Martin Co., NC, abt 1771-1775; d. bef. 07 May 1848, Stewart Co. , Tn.; m. Lydia Minerva Daniel, dau. of James Daniel and Hannah Robason, abt. 1795, Edgecombe Co., NC. I have a family group sheet that names the father of William W. as Jonathon Cherry. I also found two Jonathons on the 1779 Martin Co. tax list and one Jonathon in the 1790 Martin Co. census. There are a number of other Cherrys on both the tax list an the 1790 census. Does any one know the relationship between William W. and the two Jonathons or the other individuals ? Does anyone have information on William's father and mother. Or information on James and Hannah Robason DAniel? THanks in advance. Harry Meadows
