There are many CHERRY sites, none mine. I can't trace my Joseph CHERRY, b 1817 in England (don't know where) backwards from his marriage in Madison Co., IL in 1841. He went to Richland Co., WI in 1847, then was in Iowa Co., WI in 1850. Died there in 1874; widow, widowed daughter and sons migrated to NE where many of the descendants are today. However, Joseph's father-in-law, Michael KILLION, was born in NC in 1779 (don't know where). I've always wondered if Joseph was in NC and had siblings that may have either stayed there or migrated to TN or TX. There a lot of CHERRYS there also. Check with John Cherry at cherryj@gte.net He has a HUGE CHERRY off-line data base of same. My Joseph did have a daughter named Sarah Maria CHERRY though! My Brickwall is William Cherry b 1804, I have lots of information about other Cherry families living in Central Georgia in the mid 1800's (1820-1870) but I can't tie them in together. The closest Cherrys living near William are Spencer and Riley. There are also others living in nearby Bibb County. Does anyone connect with any Cherry families in this timeline in Georgia?? The family Bible said that William died in 1863 at age 59. His wife remarried a few years later to another North Caroliner: Meredith Arnett. This sounds like something the census would help. I can't tell if you mean that Fred Cherry was Carrie Paulk Cherry's spouse or father. 1920 and earlier censuses are available now, the 1930 census will be available in April, 2002. If you don't know the names of the parents you can scan through all of the entries with the surname you're looking for until you find a child of the right name and age. I have trackd down some further information The Lulu Cherry I'm looking for was the daughter of Robert Newton Cherry and Susan E. Huffman (daughter of Jacob Huffman and Susanne ______). Hello There is a bad virus doing the rounds. Do not open any attachments, and I recommend a good Anti virus program. It will collect unread messages and send out virus laden email with that persons name on it, so it isn't the person whose name is on the email that has the virus necessarily.
