I tried for over two years to find one of my great grandmothers history and the other week a person found one of my early posts and e mailed me a wealth of information on her and her complete family. That particular board was on the James family which connects to my cherry ancesters.Someware back their you will find a complete list of cherrys going back to early 1600 england and back further to early1100 Normandy France.

    3. Hi Do any listers connect with Carolee on this Mary Cherry? Please reply to KHansen784@aol.com Sorry Carolee All of my Cherry's are from North Carolina and Georgia. Have you tried the Cherry list? Gaila ----- Original Message ----- From: KHansen784@aol.com To: gaila@merrington.net Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2002 7:23 AM Subject: Cherry family I am seeking information on Mary Cherry. She was born about 1796 and died 26 June 1857. She married Eaton Jones Vail, March 1825 and spent the rest of her life in Chester, Orange Co, New York. Since the name Cherry is not in Orange Co, prior to the 1850's I suspect she was born in some other location. Do you have anyone in your records that might tie into my Mary Cherry? Carolee Booth Hansen Clovis, CA
