Dear Dave Hall: The marriage records show that Cynthia Cherry [6115] married Thomas Hall [6121] at (Burlington) Boone Co., KY on 20 May 1808. Cynthia Cherry [6115] was born in 1790 probably in KY. Her parents were Moses Cherry [5857] (b. 1760 Frederick Co., VA) and Mary Irvine [5861] (married about 1780-1782). Moses Cherry [5857] made a will wherein he named his wife Mary and his children (1810, Will Book A, p. 72). How else may I help you? Sincerely, John H. Cherry P.O. Hello Karen - I'm so in habit of reading the Decatur web and finding zinch! Nearly shocked me this morning! I hope Rhonda will see this as she can fill you in better but we certainly should have a connection here. Cyrena Cherry was either my paternal grandmothers real mother or her aunt. Haven't sorted it all out yet but I wanted to contact you so you will have my email as well. Stay in touch and thank you! With my gggrandfather, Garland Hall, moving right along the same pattern, they have to be connected! It was trying to find and follow him that lead me down the Cherry's path! It's always interesting to me that some lines are so easily found, while others seem buried forever! Also of great interest to me is that another line of my family is from Lancaster, and they too ended up in Macon County, Illinois! They didn't take the long route though through Tennessee. I was on another line tonight and have to call it quits for the evening, but I'll see what I can find on some of your family members. At one time, I had a ton of info on the Cherry's, whether it's easily accessible is another question! It seems to me I even found a book or at least a collection of genealogical magazines on them at one time. Good luck in your hunting. Let's see just how close we can get! Jane
