Joyce, this David Thompson is the one who married Nancy Rider, went west and returned east when Nancy and his youngest children died in Cherokee Nation west, yes? Alli, if so, I have all the Thompson Dawes packets and Miller applications for this line. My cousin's son-in-law recently discovered this was his heritage. I have about half or a little more of the Rider applications that go with them and some other goodies, too. Let me know if you want them. Sure 'nuff is, Susan. Nancy Rider being the dtr of Austin Rider. Her mother being a Nancy Ward descendent via Caty and Ellis Harlin. Austin (and Caty) were land Reservation recipients...both at Tellico.
