    3. I've thought that, too, Deborah. And, Alli, I think I have in my notes where David had a son or brother named Thomas, but I can't look tonight. I have to be up too early. Boo! Deborah, David had two families. When he returned to the east, he remarried and another large family. I don't believe this was to a Cherokee woman, but I haven't worked on this for awhile so my memory might be faulty on that. When I'm looking for Alli, I'll look for you, too. I know I was working on that and have some notes of where I wanted to look next. Don't let me forget. You have my email addy so nag me. With finals and Christmas on the horizon my brain gets Teflon coated. Genealogy is a great way to unwind. Can't wait for the Christmas break. I work at a university and we totally close the campus right before Christmas, even shut off the electricity. It saves a ton of money. we're flying fast low and below enemy radar in the student billing office to close this term and get ready for the next. Always busy and exciting! Susan

    2. Alli :)
    3. Thanks Susan, Focus on school stuff :) every line, but especially my "older" lines name at least 1 boy after the dad, any other boys after brothers of the parents or the grandpa. My Phariss line is bad on that....EVERY boy in the family that I have found had at least 1 son named Samuel. my dbl great grandpa was a Samuel his youngest son was Samuel & the only one with a known middle name LOL but when you don't have a middle name.....its very confusing lol some times they use the first & middle name of a dad or brother :) My the dbl great grandparents named the oldest boy after my dbl great grandma's dad (James Adams)....its fun lol So if there's another Thomas Thompson that's a Jr. it would not surprise me. Because for back then, I think it was rare for them to just have 3-4 kids. All I know (based on my dbl. great grandma's words) is that she had 2 uncle (James & David), her mom Elizabeth & another daughter.....unless she was talking about her grandma? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susan Reynolds" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 04, 2012 8:30 PM Subject: Re: [CherokeeGene] Alli: Arkansas and Missouri Cherokee > I've thought that, too, Deborah.
