Hi Everybody, I have the 1842 Cherokee Claims from Saline District compiled by Marybelle W. Chase. If anyone wants me to look up their ancestors in the book, please let me know. Saline District was sandwiched between Delaware District to the north and Tahlequah District to the south in 1840. Going Snake District was to the southeast. The book contains copies of the actual writing, many of them signed by my GGG-Grandfather, Jonathan Mulkey, Clerk of the Cherokee Nation Courts, so some of it is hard to decipher.
