Greetings, again! I would urge all of you to check your local library to see if they offer you remote access at home to Heritage Quest through their server. My local library started doing this some time last year. It costs me nothing and is accessible 24/7 with my library card number. Many libraries nationwide are beginning to do this. It is a wonderful resource and will give you access to most of the US census, minus 1850 and 1880, and 1930 is not complete, I don't think. The drawback here is that the census is only indexed by head of household. You can get a little creative on the advanced search, though, and find most of your folks. It doesn't do wildcard searches so you have to sort of think outside the box sometimes. Heritage Quest also has begun posting up digital copies of Revolutionary and War of 1812 Pension Applications. It's well worth the time to check your library's web site. Have a good one, y'all! Susan
