    3. Osiyo Listers, Unhappy to say that I have returned. That is, I loved my whole Oklahoma experience that much I am ready to pack my bags, and hey, I never thought I would hear myself say that! LOL. My trip was very fruitful and I visited the Oklahoma City Historical Society (Thank you, Phyliss, you were wonderful!), the El Reno Cemetary, the Bennett Cemetary, Warner Cemetary (both in Warner) and the Ross Cemetary in Tahlequah. I also visited Conner State College in Warner, help founded my GGG-Grandfather, Jonathan Mulkey. The director at the Murrell House (the only Antebellum House in Oklahoma/The Murrells were related to the Ross' by marriage) gave me a list of others also doing Ross-Mulkey research and since then I have spoken to some truly lovely people. I went to the Cherokee Nation HQ, ate at their restaurant, bought out their gift shop, LOL, got to see the Trail of Tears drama at the Heritage Center (I highly recommend it---one of the lady actor's voices there is other worldly!), did the Ancient Cherokee Village guided tour, visited the Courthouse (the old Cherokee Nation Capitol Bldg), went to Northeastern State University (unfortunately their archive office was closed) and did lots of other fun things all in just a matter of a few too short days! Wonder why I am exhausted...! Note: To the person asking me to photograph the headstone of BF Ross at El Reno. I got it! Will be posting it after I sift through the hundred others I took. Also found a Wilson for the Wilson researcher. Mostly I have Ross' and Mulkeys. Can someone tell me how to post a photograph here? Will be returning to Tahlequah (from CA, where I live---ugh) for the Cherokee Nation Anniversary Labor Day. Am putting together a Tear Dress, they are somewhat complicated, at least for a neophyte seamtress like me! Can't wait to go HOME again! Take care.
