There's a map of the Congarees area that has Wm. Moore 250 [acres] 1752 V, 309. The location is just above Howells Ferry and Raifords Cr. In his chapter on "The Settlement of the Back Country" in the Waxhaws area (1751-54 NC & SC), he mentions James Moore & Capt. William Moore. Joy P.S.
