FROM ALLI, who wanted all those who cared to know she has unsub and her feelings about it. She asked that I share her note to Dan about her unsubbing. With her permission: I didn't unsub because you were doing your job, as I understand that. And I'm not mad at you for requesting that the list get back on topic. Because that's the way it should be. I am not asking that you share private messages either, that's not anything I'd ever ask a list owner. The reason that I unsubbed is purely because of the complainers who can't seem to get off their own tushes & post Genealogy related topic's to get the list 1. active 2. back on track w/Genealogy. Instead they are complaining to you privately & to RW to cause even more problems for you. Instead of taking it upon themselves to make an effort to redirect the conversation they sit back in silence & only complain.....if that's all they can do why be on a genealogy list? You can't find your family on a mailing list if you sit on your butt & never post. And as for the horse post.........come on how often was there a message coming thru that was about horses? 1 maybe about the death of a newborn foal & 1 about a new birth of another foal. Oh how horrible is that. Again Dan, I am not mad at you for you doing your job.......I don't expect anything less than that out of you. You've always been a great listowner & have tolerated way more than I would. I am hurt that there is someone or some one's on this list that are too lazy to post their lines, but are quick to bitch about a newborn baby struggling to survive. I truly hope those people who complained (regardless of how many) never ever have a child in their life that has to struggle to live, that they never have a child or a precious pet die and then expect other's to care. I THANK everyone who said Prayers for my baby girl & asked for updates on her while she was in the hospital that meant/means a lot to me. It didn't dawn on me until after she got out of the hospital that I had been talking about her here & not on the Culture list. Again Dan.....I'm not mad at you. And only unsubbed so those complainers couldn't complain that I was allowed to stay on the list after sending the last message. I'm still on the Gene-chat list, so I'll post my ancestor's there later Alli :)
