And just a note before I unsub......for those uncaring uptight individuals who have to bitch about a mom talking about her newborn that got ill......if you were so interested in Genealogy then why hasn't there been any messages from you about the dead people you are searching for. Suggested it by sending the tag lines up few messages back. No point to unsub - just be cause a list admin does what he is told to do. This list was created for genealogy only and the conversation would be and is fine on the Culture list or the chat lists. This is not the mom list, but I was reading all your posts until I got slammed into a wall with complaints. And as not to break list admin member confidence I cant say who or how many all I can do is ask we use the proper lists for the proper conversations and this is not for horses and babies (((( UHH)))) beg my pardon here a bit, it is for babies in the sense that a new born IS a genealogy factor because it needs to be recorded and then there is the fact people want to know it is ok. Look in the archives and see how long the thread is. Sorry - it not a personal issue with me Just that no matter who posts I still need to do the admin work. Just as if I posted out of turn on another list I would get heck there - and belive me I have caught a few whacks as a member too <G> I made a generic chat list, but no one is using it. I left the lists alone for a long time , but I have to do what I said I would when I had the list made - take care of it and keep it on track. For all those who helped me over the years, thank you. For all those who cared when my husband died, thank you. For those who understand losing a foal, after you have tried to save it, watching it die is tramatic and brings back all the memories of having your husband die similiar, thank you to those who cared and wrote me saying so. for those who complained. sometimes lists do get on the wrong track. I have numerously tried to bring it back when it veers away. Why cause Dan more grief by inudating him with notes. All you had to do was nicely try to bring back a genealogy topic. Help yourself by doing so and reminding everyone nicely that you are still looking and would like to get back to genealogy. NICE is the key here. I'm going to unsub now Dan. Don't know when I'll be back or if I'll be back. I love to help, will miss that, but maybe I can use the time in other places. The lord knows that I can use more time. good luck to those who seek info. Hopefully someone else will take Alli's place and provide lookups and such as she did. Same with me. Debbie
