Hi Jerri, I found the Bird Doublehead interviews goldmine several years ago. It has been a great source for some of my Wilson Genealogy. Tom's Gr.Gr.Gr.Gr. Grandfather was Thomas Wilson, SR. In one of the interviews Bird Doublehead talks about Kayteeya Wilson, one of Chief Doubleheads wives. I never knew if she was a sister or daughter of Thomas Wilson, SR. He states in his Estate of Doublehead interview that Thomas Wilson, Kayteeyeah brother, took some horse's etc... so that help answered that question. Thomas Wilson, SR had a a son, George W. Wilson, SR who was married to Ruth Springston/Drumgoole. Ruth's half sister, Nancy Drumgoole was another of Doubleheads wives, so even though we do not have a direct connection to the Doublehead family, he is an important part of our family history. So I have read whatever I can find on Chief Doubleheads family. You never know when or where you'll find another bit of family history. These Indian and Pioneer Interviews are a great find for anyone lucky enough to have family connections to one or more of them. I enjoyed reading the different interviews just to learn about the different areas, history etc. Thank you for making them known for those who had not seen or heard about them before.
