    3. Osiyo Michael, I'm not familiar with any of the names you've listed. I don't think there is any connection between Chief Ross and your Ross', but one can never be sure. I haven't researched any of the names you listed at all. I will most likely be researching the Greenlawn Cemetary in Checotah, the Twin Grove Cemetary in Checotah, the Bennett Cemetary in Warner and cemetaries around El Reno. Michael Matherly <michael@michaelmatherly.com> wrote: Osiyo Jerri, Know I haven't checked on the internet for their burials. I'm not sure where to look. I haven't found a definate connection between my Rosses and Chief John Ross, although there are many similarities in names. My Rosses are also associated with Miller, Harris, Barker, Sutton, Kelly, Merchant, Ritenour or Ridenour, Wikel and Brandenburg. 3. There are two Barkers in Hampton's book, both Willims, one b. 1810, the other 1850. There are many, many Millers and Harris', 14 Suttons, 6 Kelly's, no Merchants, no Ridenour's, no Ritenours and no Brandenburgs. First names, and dates might help. jay earl <ten8csi@yahoo.com> wrote:Osiyo Michael, I'm not familiar with any of the names you've listed. 3. Wow. I can see how your Ross' get mixed in with my Ross'. My GGG-Grandmother, Mariah Ross was married to Jonathan D. Mulkey (another name which is oft confused with others with the same name). She died on the Trail of Tears in 1838. Thanks for sharing. :) Michael Matherly <michael@michaelmatherly.com> wrote: William H. Barker b. about 1850 married Mariah A. Ross b. 1855.
