My Eduda "Papa", was Jess Hembree. His mother was Martha Williams and his father was George Washington Hembree. My mother could not recall her dad's mom or dad's names (!). I recently received a 1937 social security application for Jess Hembree I had sent for, which revealed their names. Papa was raised as an orphan with the Beck family in Indian Territory, where he met my Elisi, Georgia Farmer. Same name. Evidently different Hembree's. Mr. Standifer married Jean, who is from the Ross-Mulkey line. I connect to the Standifers through the Mulkeys. Wouldn't it be a hoot to connect to them through the Hembree's too? I know absolutely nothing us about my particular Hembree line yet except in 1937 they lived in El Reno, Oklahoma and in 1916 he and my grandma of Fawn, Oklahoma, married in Eufala OK. Any help would be appreciated! Welcome to my brick wall. Thanks! ~Jerri Etowah Senior Center <escc435@vol.com> wrote: No. Isn't my page...is it Dales?
