Looks like the genealogy is laging. One thing tho Prayers to any of our members in the hurricane area. Dan M
Dan, yes, it's lagging. I think people are just busy, watching CNN or doing their summer projects. For me, I'm swamped and recently lost my uncle. As some of you know, I have only just moved forward from losing my spouse. Losses of any type are hard on me right now. The hurricane victims have my full sympathy. Nobody should be dealt that type of grief. My friend just flew there and picked up her two grandchildren. The lived near the eye and have nothing left. Their mom is staying (not sure why) but asked their grandmother to get the babies so they can have a decent home and food. They are twins and she will be challenged in the months ahead. Please include her in your blessing. Her name is Christie. thanks, Debbie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan M" <wb@wvi.com> To: <CherokeeGene-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 08, 2005 10:06 AM Subject: Re: [CherokeeGeneCommunity] Laging > Looks like the genealogy is laging. > One thing tho > Prayers to any of our members in the hurricane area. > Dan M > > > ==== CherokeeGene Mailing List ==== > This list is for Genealogy related conversations > Your supporting website http://www.wvi.com/~wb/Cherokee1.html > Please Good manors and no flaming others > For Culture, ridges; bumps; skin tones; or Language lessons Please visit > CHEROKEE-L-request@rootsweb.com > You can also find what you need search the archives > or to get off this list via web site below > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Ethnic-Native/CherokeeGene.html > Listowner = CherokeeGene-admin@rootsweb.com > > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.344 / Virus Database: 267.10.19/92 - Release Date: 9/7/05 > >
Hi, Dan and Debbie I have noticed that the mailing lists are very quiet right now. Probably for the reasons that Debbie stated. Debbie, you have had more than your share of bad lately. The situation in the disaster area is just tragic. I am proud to live in a country that has such great people to open their homes, hearts and cities to the people who need so much right now. We will overcome. Hi, list members Just wondering if anyone has done research in the Kanawha Co. Va/WV area?? Looking for confirmation that Sarah/Sally Hager was the daughter of Tuckaho and Margaret Mounce. Also does anyone have anything on Rachel Anderson, who married Hezekiah Merritt in Washington Co. Penn about 1785. I have read that she was Cherokee.
