Just wondering if it is entirely necessary to send messages like these "Thank Yous" "Happy Holidays" and "Help needed" to the entire list? After a while they feel a lot like spam. Just my opinion. Thanks!

Sorry to see you have such a negative feeling towards seeing good help being thanked, about the Christmas holiday being acknowledged or help being sought out on such a helpful list. But I do recall Dan's (the listowner) request that if you have a Complaint that you send it to him (Cherokeegene-admin@rootsweb.com in case you don't have it). I am glad to see help sought out & is acknowledged by other's & that people are taking the time to say Merry Christmas or Feliz Navidad (sp) to everyone. This has been a wonderful, caring & helpful list since I first joined 8 yrs ago. I gained a lot of knowledge & help w/my tree (even though I'm stuck on the 3rd & 4th generations). Either post your family tree so you can get help or hit delete. Send complaints to the Admin & not the list.
