Hi all, I am trying to find out about my grandfather and my grandmother's heritage. I was told that my grandfather Squire Chezem and my grandmother Ruby Bowser, both had cherokee in their lineage. I have also heard that we are related to Jesse Chisholm of the Chisholm trail ( forgive me, I may have spelled it wrong, there are many different spellings or versions) I do know from my readings that Jesse was Scotch and Cherokee descent but have no idea about my grandmother.
