I want to thank the people with the common flare of courtisy who replied and answered my query in the private mail. Some still have the interests of being polite enough to be nice. I re ask that question for clearity because some people have enough trouble just doing messages. Some people also know things change in time and new info comes to light 2004 is a long time to ignor a topic. Some people use email and no internet, they can not search the archive. Like Juno, and certain cell phones. I don't care if some one gave an answer 10 years ago or 2 years ago - if a question is ask, just be nice and supply the answer - or don't post at all. 2 of those are on the list and ask me to repost those query on Sizemore. If people are going to be members of the groups, they also can be nice enough to have polite answers with the enthusiam of being part of the group with out the lectures and certain flares of the ( bite) when an answer is given. Attitudes on this list - just don't cut the rug. I have one rule - I suggest every one read it. ( Rude people will be moderated) This list was started by me for Cherokee research. I don't appricate the all caps - and being snipped at. Also - people by now - should know, rootsweb messages ( are not that reliable to get to the members) due to rootsweb being blacklisted on a daily basis= ( NO) Joys message she repeated, never got to my email, it is not in my archinve which I have back to 1998 - several of Joys messages never got here. Maybe people should not assume just because they posted a message - to rootsweb, that the members all got it - or that rootsweb had not unsubscribed them unknowingly, which according to the LO list, has been happening so I was told on certain list serves. Much simpler - Hi Dan, Hey, I posted that some time ago, did you see it? or Just send it again. My private and admin mail just glo's with members comments. Helps to be nice. Dan M CherokeeGene admin
