    3. Thanks Kathie! I didn't think that SC was covered, but wanted to give the background. Jack Bell may be a relative ... like the Adairs, there were a lot of Bells in GA too. One of these days I'll sort it all out ;) all the best and thanks again, Beth Date: Mon, 11 May 2015 21:22:13 +0000 From: "> Subject: [CherokeeGene] Beall/Bell in 1835 Censu0 To: " <cherokeegene@rootsweb.com>" <cherokeegene@rootsweb.com> Message-ID: <857374BF9E92FC41ADB816D22EC6616DCDECE538@akers.ad.unh.edu> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Beth, the 1835 Census did not include South Carolina - those lands were ceded much earlier. There is a Jack Bell on the Coosawattie River in Georgia, with six quarterbreeds in his household. One farmer, three spinners, one weaver. Four descendants of reservees. There were a lot of Cherokee Adairs in Georgia, but only the name of the head of household is shown. Kathie
