LOL Ya almost sound like me. When I started researching, I had to have my mom drive me to the LDS FHC (I was 13) then shortly after I got a computer & Dan found me, I lived on a few blocks away from the FHC....now I live 45 min's away...I'm still inquisitive, just lack desire to drive so far LOL Ancestry use to be great......not suppose much now :o( -----Original Message----- From: Edith Humble [mailto:eadiene7374@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, January 12, 2015 5:47 PM To: Alli :); cherokeegene@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [CherokeeGene] ancestry I'm glad to know I'm not the only one upset with ancestry. I had someone that posted that mom's grandmother had remarried in OK and she lived with her daughter right here at home. In fact, she never remarried at all Plus I think that ancestry has some sort of bug because I've entered my info and then the next time I go in it's different. I'm a member and even went World wide but not using it much. They make it very difficult in many ways, not listing it alphabetically which means you have to hunt thru all those names to find your info. However, since they've bought out all the other informative sites what other resources do you have? The answer is the library. Our library has great resources but I'm too laid back to go and research. My age, I think, but when I started I was only a block away from the library and they stayed open on Thursday until nine. Plus I was younger then and more inquisitive. Adiene
