    3. Hi Susan, As of now, I don't have any of the names you listed in my southern genealogy. I do have ADAIR, MARTIN AND LITTLE but they came from County Down in 1856 and settled in western MD. I suppose they might be connected back across the pond generations ago ... Interesting about a Cherokee connection with early New England settlers. Guess they migrated south? Such fun piecing it all together, isn't it? I don't know much about the ancestry of Mary Adair, my 5th great grandmother. What I know so far follows my sign-off.
