    3. I have some interesting jewelry. My husband and I had a combination, Merle Norman, Wig Shop and Beautiful shop and we sold beauty producrs as well. He was a horseman and worked in that field, I ran the business. He worked for the largest Arabian Horse farms like Anssda, Glenlough frames in Spring, TX and for a Dr Kuilou in Austin (excuse the spelling , my memory is fading, but both he and his wife had a farm in San Antonio. He was a heart surgeon and she was a diagnostic doctor. They own ibn Negre (again my memory fails me) but the author of the Black Stallion hired him to be the horse. My husband was showing the horse in Lewisville, Kansas (I think) in the Parade of stallions. He actually hauled the two Studs up there for the show. Dr kolilou (again the spelling is incorrect . Frddie was to bring out the Stud in order to show the audience. However, the stud had other ideas and came out on two hind feet. Good for showing off, not good for showmanship. After the exit a man approached my husband and ask him to star in the movie. He gave him the name of the owner. The reason I brought this up was the family bought and sold turquoise from the Zuna tribes. We had some on consignment. It was absolutely amazing. All sorts of jewelry hand man by the Zuni tribesmen were sold by themselves and renders. I spotted a pair of Silver and Turqusise earrings that my husband had purchase at render price less a percentage for the in between man. We paid $500 for the pair. They are unique. Months later the doctor called and asked if we’d sold the pair. He said yes. It seemed it was a pair that was priceless as they had been made by the jewelry making and the oldest in his tribe. Since it was her mistake , I gained. I have not idea how much the pair is worth now but the finest jewelry craftsman them from the Zuna tribe. Perhaps they should be in a museum but they are my favorite and I could not part with them. This was a trade the NA made for themselves.
