Thanks Kevin :) I'm glad she's home too, even happier she's starting to figure out her own schedule....unfortunately I can't let her go past 4 hrs for feedings despite how she'd prefer I would sometimes LOL Yes when it comes to a Medical staff.....if you don't feel comfortable with what a nurse or even Dr. tells you, don't hesitate on questioning them. I know I irritated at least one nurse w/my questions & offended another when I 'complained' to a Dr. instead of her. But I didn't question the staff after Jessica was born & I know if I had we wouldn't have been back in "in" the hospital at all. But that's ok, I learned even more this time then the first time I dealt w/a baby having Jaundice. The only problem I have with that (taking a nap when they do) is if I manage to go to sleep then the dogs bark, the phone rings or one of them wakes up early. So I figure that I'll just get my rest during the normal bed time LOL And while the kids are asleep I can get house work done w/o having 'interference'. So happy for you to have this time with the new baby daughter. They are a blessing for sure. I have another new foal, born abt 2 am today. Cute tri color filly. NOt my black and white (which is what I lost) but really cute and healthy (seems to be). Imprinted this morning, gonna do more with a friend in a bit. Oh no if you get banned or unsubbed Dan normally tells you. I did make a complaint on the night nurses. My husband told me to write down everything that was done or said while I was there & he took it in w/him to see our daughter & happened to catch the Pediatrician also and gave her what I wrote down. there was only one thing I missed putting down, but apparently the Pediatrician did read it & took it to 'their' bosses....I mean from the Top of the nursing dept (apparently) down to just before her. The nurse that was my daughters wasn't as bad as the other nurse, but I know that my daughter's nurse got into trouble & I have a suspicion that the other one did too as she (the other one) didn't once acknowledge me when she was in the room not even when standing right in front of where I was sitting. but it was that nurse that really bothered me to make the comment "oh he just stopped breathing" & then continued her conversation w/my daughters nurse. Yeah we are too. I was going to take a nap yesterday, but wanted to get some house work done first & when I finally did try to take a nap, the boys decided it wasn't allowed & were too nosy for me to sleep (which was ok since their dad wasn't home) So maybe today I'll take a nap w/them at the same time :) Alli > Alli, I am so happy that she got to come home.
