    3. Chatting is okay but if you aren’t talking about the hows, whys, wheres and whos, you are going nowhere. Let people talk about the struggle to overcome finding ancestors or whatever. This helps others work out their own problems. I am finding now that so much of our genealogy is commericialize that people are not giving out info that others will sell which defeats the purpose of finding our ancestors. I know for a fact since I’ve researched since 1970 that a lot of info that was on the free site of all the states was a tool we used until Ancestry, USwebGen, then they started buying up all the free sites leaving a lot of people up the creek with no paddle. Some are on a fixed income and can’t afford these fees. Some don’t want to give away info that they found reading books, fiche, and rolling reams of film over and over looking for their family and when they were taken over (census, etc) a lot were not spelled correct and errors made. I have ancestry and I still have trouble finding things. Our local library has immense info available that I need to check out but being elderly and finding it more convenient to research at home has advantgaes. I have given info and never heard from them since. Communications is important between people. It stops someone from using a family member that isn’t theirs and believe me, that’s happened. Just my view point which I’m sorry to impose on you. 3. So many choices and opinions in the science world. So many people read * old web pages* thinking it is still a fact, but, no it was just on the way of finding the way to more details, as time goes on, things we thing we think are-were facts become a mere note on the wall. People write an error - lets say in ancestry.com tree's - another comes along and claims the notes as a fact and the previous gets corrections and the latter never changes - thus - 99 bottles of beer on the wall wont unleash the confusion added by miss use of facts. Here is a discussion some one might read it and get into the bash. http://www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view/articleNo/39990/title/Ancient-Skeleton-Sheds-Light-on-Native-American-Roots/ Once we were sitting on proof to 14.300, now they are claiming maybe 26,000 for the NA's I dont have any special opinions, I just read, like any one else and do like any one else, ( oh, thats a fact- whoops, tomorrow I find thats not right any more) So the best thing is, dont insist on what some thinks they know, there is always change and always new finds in facts lead to more finds in facts. For all the people doing research of those NA people intermarriages over time, good searching will provide answers. 99% of what I have read personally, relates the NA's as Asian cultures. You can debate, debunk and dispute, as you wish but be sure- as you do you use known facts. *

Another interesting link to view.....I could spend a week checking out all the links included in this page to go over everything......that is if i didn't have other responsibilities that prevent me from sitting all day reading something :) Very interesting. Especially to see that there are potentially at least 2 groups of people (so far) that seems to be the ancestors of our modern/current NA tribes..... very cool On 4/11/2016 12:56 PM, James via wrote: > https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/07/120712141916.htm > More on Clovis Etc: > * >

    3. Interesting blog that clarified a lot of apparent misconception, a good article/blog that shows how important it is to research the information that you come across & not just take what you find on face value without double checking for facts other wise you could be following & believing a myth. I found this " that probing the miniscule mitochondrial genome might have had the intent to provide evidence for an Asian origin of Native Americans – a well known fact that no one disputes" (found in the comments below) pretty interesting. If its a "well known fact" that it appears that NA ancestors have their Origins in Asia......why are so many arguing against that "fact"? pretty interesting, not sure what this has to do with anything other than helping to spread the truth.
