    3. Any thing that is not query for look ups of names and posting those finds, should not be on this list. This should only be a place to seek help to find information for genealogy. [email protected] is the list for con versation. Myth and culture. >From now own let join the other list for these things and save this group for the genealogy only. This way those people who do not want the gossip and myth can avoid it by not joining the other list. People who do not comply will be moderated in the future. Thanks And on with genealogy only. Dan -----Original Message----- From: Joyce Gaston Reece Sent: Wednesday, December 26, 2012 5:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [CherokeeGene] Israel's Lost David, You're not confused. It is purely conjecture, speculation and any other like word that the Cherokee tribe is one of the lost tribes of Israel. It's not proven and likely won't be in our lifetime. Maybe someday but we just don't yet know. It's purely a matter of choice as to what one 'wishes' to believe set apart from actual facts. Those of us who believe that genealogy is not mythology and require documentation to the best that can be had will tell you the same thing. If we look into the deep history of what caused the Cherokee to be called 'Cherokee' one can see that the tribe is a compilation of hundreds of other tribes that the British stuck the name onto. 3. Check with Trend Micro or Microsoft Essential Security.....that will pick up things that McAfee & Norton miss. You can also use AVG Grisoft... I've used all those (currently use MES) & haven't had issues in several years.....so you might think your computer is clean when its not.
