I am researching Simuel EVANS and his wife Sarah. They came to Lawrence/Fulton Co AR from TN. Children were said to be half Cherokee so I don't know who was Cherokee, Simmy or Sarah. Don't know what part of TN. Simuel S. F. EVANS (name as listed on land grant) was born 3/6/1796 and died 3/9/1856. Sarah was born in 1809. They were married before 1824 either in TN or AR. They had 11 children namely Sarah, Mary, Dulcena B., Elija O. D., John M. B., Napoleon B., Caleb J., Jane, Nancy, Pacific and Atlantic. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
