My ggg-grandmother's first name was ELIZABETH. Do not know her Cherokee name or her last name. She was married to my ggg-grandfather whose last name was REESE. Do not know his first name. They had a child MAYFIELD REESE, born in South Carolina in 1802 who was my gg-grandfather. Don't know if there were other siblings - possibly a JOHN??? Mayfield named his first daughter ELIZABETH CASTEER REESE. If someone could please do a look-up in the Cherokee records I would appreciate it so much as this is a "brick wall" for me in my research.
