She was Cherokee Indian and her name was Maudie Mae. She married my great grandpa ( Henry Pledger, Pledger was given to him from the man he worked for) and they only had one son, named Sammie. This all took place in Arkansas. I believe somewhere around Atkins AK. I know she died while living in Oklahoma.
