Ok, folks I have had enough. The purpose of this mailing list is for anyone to ask questions, even if we think we know the answer, someone out there just might have a better answer. When this list was set up it was to assist any one in search of their ancestors. When you are new to searching for your Indian Genealogy, you may not know the right way to ask a question, on this list there is no right or wrong way, just ask the questions. If you don't like the question asked, then don't answer. I have just spent some time reading the archives, I don't see any helpfulness there, but there is some attitude. All of us are searching, and on this list no one is more Indian than anyone else. If anyone is here to critize, know it all, or a more Indain than you attitude, than take it someplace else it doesn't belong on this list. We are here to help each other, to the question asked about Chief Redbird, no one provided an answer, except for smart remarks. I did a little digging this am and found this link to A Chief Redbird Smith, could this be who you are looking for? http://www.keetoowah-society.org/redbird.htm Judy
Judy, I am not looking for a Chief Redbird Smith. Thank you for offering the help though. I was looking for information about Aaron Brock. Obviously he is not and was not recognized by the Cherokee Nation. I can live with that.
