Hello, My maiden surname is Campbell. My grandmother Campbell (maiden surname Pritts from Indian Head, Fayette County, PA) told me that we have Cherokee from her mother's side of the family. This would be my greatgrandmother and her maiden name was Barckley, not sure of the spelling. It would be her mother that was full-blooded Cherokee and this would be my greatgreatgrandmother. She married an Englishman by the last surname of Barckley. I am not sure what there first names were or what her maiden surname was. Hope this can be of some help to you.
