My Grandmothers name was Bertha Fidelia Franklin born in Appomattox,Va her mother was Fettna or Fenetta Goins/Going/Gowen born 1864 mar John Walker Franklin abt 1880 Fettna Ellen W. Goin her mother and father where Doctor (Daniel)Merry Goins and Mary Jane Ferguson they were all from Buckingham Va Doc Merry Goins mother and father were Jesse Goins died 1854 wife Lucy.Bertha Fidelia Franklin was 1/2 Cherokee and Jesse Goins wife Lucy was suppose to be Full Blooded Cherokee .Does anyone have any connection to this family ?Gloria Jarrell
