One of my surnames is BREWER. I have no idea who was supposed to have the Cherokee blood. It has been very difficult to trace. Some of my ancestors include: Willis B. Brewer (1799), Nathan Thomas Brewer (1759), Elizabeth Brewer ( 1833). It appears that my Brewer's started in North Carolina moving to Tennessee and then to Kentucky.
