But I say ,look not for your "indianess"in your skin,nor your looks Search not in the past or the future for proof Live not in the need to prove And fuss not for others to accept. Know that in your hearts you need no PROOF Know that in your knowledge of your ancestors ,They see you as you are ! Hunting to show others why you are not "Red; Black haired and in loin cloth" Only shows that your not sure whom you are. Creator made us and so he shall be the one to claim you. Trust in your self to know . As the American race ,we are breed as mutts ,to change whom we are. As Humans we are breed to acknoledge we are HUMAN ! Our ancestors did what each had to do They watch to see what we try to do in their honor Show them now we are SURE of whom we are. And just be sure in your heart ,rather then worry if Other' s accept you,believe you ,because they do not Know you. You can not change the past ,but you can the future Hold high the head,but push not pain For all we really need in this life to gain Is that we know who and what and why we really are.
