I'm new to the list. I recently have been told by my aunt that my gr gr gr grandmother was 100% Cherokee. Her name was Susan A. Peterson. (Some records have her as Susannah.) She was born in IL and married a John Minear. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks Linda
