While I was growing up, my parents told me that my dad's grandmother Cherokee and that my mom's grandmother was Cherokee. Except for family information and the fact that my grandpa on the one side and my grandma on the other side looked native American Indian. I have not been able to find any documentation on that information. I figured this would be a good list to start with. Here is what I have on them my great-grandmothers. Cora Bell Dix, born October 14, 1875 in Shelburn, Indiana, died September 22, 1930 in Blackwell, Kay Co., Oklahoma, buried at Braman Cemetery, Braman, Kay Co., Oklahoma. She married Pleasant Moore in Indiana. Her parents are David F. Dix and Jamima E. Ogle, both also of Indiana. Mable I. Tiepner, born 1887 in Wisconsin. Married, Thomas (Roy) Goodell.
